Write what you're building and optionally drop in a PNG or JPEG — an icon, a sketch, a screenshot. The palette snaps to the nearest classic BrickColors.

Pick your detail

Quick, Standard or Detailed sets the part budget and the credit cost. Retro Roblox is the default treatment — flat icon and naturalistic are there when a build needs them.

Preview, then paste

Spin the model in 3D to check the massing, then copy the script into the Studio command bar. Not right? Revise it in plain English — the first revision of every model is free.

Questions

Do the studs actually render?

Yes. Roblox retired the old surface types, so the scripts load the 2022 material variant pack into MaterialService and set Glacier plus 2022 Universal — studs wrapping every face, not just the top. Every script ends with a sweep that catches anything missed.

Can I run the script in a live game?

Run it once in the Studio command bar, then save the result. game:GetObjects only resolves in Studio, and runtime CSG is too slow to ship.

How accurate is the preview?

The script carries its own parts manifest, so the preview is what the script says it builds. Unions are drawn as their nearest primitive and marked translucent — check those in Studio.

What if the model comes out wrong?

Revise it in plain English. The first revision of every model is free, and after that each one is 10 credits — it edits the script you have rather than starting over. Everything is derived from constants, so hand-editing is easy too.

Can I use the models commercially?

Yes. Everything you generate is yours: use it in paid Roblox experiences, sell it, remix it. No attribution is required, though we always love seeing what you build in the Discord.

What's the difference between free and paid credits?

None. A credit is a credit on every plan, including Free: the same generator, the same detail levels, and your models stay private either way. Paid plans simply give you more of them.

Do credits expire?

Plan credits roll over: each month your allowance is added to what you have left, up to two months' worth. Credit packs never expire. Plan credits are used first, so the credits you bought last longest.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Any time, from your account. You move to the Free plan at the end of the period you've paid for, and you keep every credit you have left.

This is a client-side prototype. The owner flag lives in browser storage, so anyone could set it from the console. It demonstrates the flow only. In the real build, the role belongs in a database column and every grant must be checked on the server — never trust the browser for who is staff.

Draft. These terms were written for the prototype and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have a solicitor check them against your jurisdiction and your payment provider's requirements before you take real money.

1. Who we are

Distinctus is a tool that turns a written description, and optionally a reference image, into a Luau script that builds a model inside Roblox Studio. These terms cover your use of the website and the service. By creating an account you agree to them.

2. Your account

You need an account to generate models. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else is using your account.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian agree on your behalf. See the Children section of the Privacy Policy.

3. Plans, credits and billing

Each plan grants a number of credits per monthly billing period.
Credits are consumed only when a generation succeeds. A failed, refused or cancelled generation costs nothing.
Unused plan credits roll over into the next period, up to a balance of two periods' allowance. Credits bought as one-off packs do not expire.
Changing plan takes effect immediately and adds the new plan's allowance to your balance, within the same cap.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future billing and moves you to the Free plan at the end of the period already paid for, which is not refunded. You keep any credits left in your account.

4. What you make is yours

You own the scripts and models you generate, and you may use them commercially — in paid experiences, for sale or in client work — without attribution. We claim no ownership over your output and no licence to it beyond what is needed to operate the service — storing it so you can retrieve it later, and displaying it back to you.

We do not publish your models publicly unless you explicitly choose to share them.

5. Reference images

You may only upload images you have the right to use. Do not upload artwork, logos or characters owned by someone else and then publish the result as your own. You are responsible for the rights to anything you upload and for what you do with what comes back.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Distinctus to generate content that is unlawful, that infringes someone's intellectual property, that is sexual in nature, or that is intended to harass or harm anyone. Do not attempt to resell, scrape or automate the service outside of normal use. We may suspend accounts that do these things.

7. AI output comes with no guarantee

Models are generated automatically. They may be wrong, misproportioned, or not match your description. Scripts run inside your own Roblox Studio session and you are responsible for reviewing them before running them and before shipping anything to a live game. Always check a generated model in Studio.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and stop charging.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Distinctus is provided "as is" and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Relationship to Roblox

Distinctus is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. "Roblox" and "Roblox Studio" are trademarks of their owner and are used here only to describe compatibility. You remain bound by Roblox's own terms when you use anything generated here inside their platform.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will let you know by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that counts as acceptance.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account details — your email address and display name.
Billing details — handled by our payment provider. We store which plan you are on and when it renews. We never see or store your card number.
What you make — your prompts, the settings you chose, the scripts generated for you, and any reference image you upload.
Basic usage data — credits spent, generation counts, and errors, so we can keep the service working.

How we use it

To run the service: to generate models, to show you your own history, to meter credits against your plan, and to contact you about your account. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Reference images and prompts

Your prompt and any image you upload are sent to our AI provider so that a model can be generated. They are processed to produce your result. Do not upload images containing personal information, private documents or anything you would not want processed by a third party.

You can delete a saved model from your library at any time, which removes the stored script and its preview.

Storage in your browser

We use local browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences. This is not advertising tracking, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Who we share with

Only the providers needed to run the service: our hosting provider, our payment provider, our email provider, and the AI provider that generates models. Each receives only what their function requires. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open. Delete your account and we remove your personal data and your saved models within 30 days, apart from records we are legally required to retain, such as invoices.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@distinctus.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

A large part of the Roblox community is under 18, so this matters more here than it would elsewhere. Distinctus is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to have an account and to be billed. If we learn that we hold data for a child under 13 we will delete it. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to see, correct or delete a child's data.

Security

We use encryption in transit, limit who internally can access account data, and use a payment provider so that card details never reach our systems. No service can promise perfect security, and we will tell affected users promptly if a breach occurs.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect.
